What’s Coming to Revelstoke: Cabot, Resort Real Estate & Future Amenities

Revelstoke continues to evolve as a four-season destination, with significant development planned around the resort and Mackenzie Village area. From new golf facilities and clubhouses to hotels, recreation amenities and additional real estate, there is plenty happening over the next several years.

Based on information discussed as of September 15, 2026, here’s an overview of what is currently planned and what property owners and prospective buyers should be watching.

Cabot Development Timeline

One of the most anticipated additions is the Cabot golf development, with the golf course currently scheduled to open to the public in spring 2027.

Looking further ahead, a clubhouse is planned for 2028, along with an additional 12-hole golf course across from Mackenzie Village, also anticipated for 2028.

Club membership has been discussed at a $100,000 buy-in, with the ability to include up to 10 immediate family members under one membership. Membership benefits discussed include priority access to tee times, first gondola rides and access to area amenities such as pickleball and padel facilities.

Currently planned for completion in Spring 2027. Plans discussed for the hotel include a CHOP Steakhouse & Bar and a pro shop, further expanding the services and amenities available around the resort.

Expanding Four-Season Amenities

The long-term vision extends well beyond skiing and golf. A number of recreational and wellness amenities have been discussed as part of the broader development, including pickleball courts, padel courts, a golf simulator, golf courses and spa/Nordic spa facilities.

These additions could continue to strengthen Revelstoke’s position as a four-season destination, providing more activities for visitors and property owners throughout the spring, summer and fall as well as the traditional winter season.

Two Clubhouses Planned

Two separate clubhouse concepts are anticipated within the development.

The clubhouse associated with the 12-hole golf course has always been intended to remain accessible to the public, while the base-of-the-hill clubhouse is currently intended to operate as a private facility.

This distinction will be important for visitors and property owners as the development progresses and more information about access and membership becomes available.

Town homes & Long-Term Direction

Another component of the development is the addition of new residential inventory, with eight town homes planned for this winter.

At this stage, long-term management of these town homes is not currently planned. However, there has been discussion around establishing a clearer long-term direction for the development as additional residential properties come online.

For buyers considering resort real estate, understanding how properties can be managed and rented will continue to be an important part of evaluating an investment.

RMR & Longer-Term Stays

Another consideration for property owners is the distinction between short-term and longer-term rental management at Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR).

Based on the information discussed, properties at RMR may work with other property management companies for stays of 30 days or longer, while stays of less than 30 days are not permitted to be managed by outside property management companies.

For owners and prospective buyers, understanding these management and rental restrictions before purchasing is important, particularly when building rental projections or determining how a property will be used.

What This Could Mean for Revelstoke Real Estate

With golf, hospitality, recreation, wellness amenities and new residential development all planned, the resort area continues to evolve beyond being primarily a winter destination.

For anyone considering purchasing a vacation property or investment property in Revelstoke, it is important to look beyond projected rental revenue and understand property management restrictions, permitted rental use, operating costs, seasonality and the timeline of future amenities.

At Hive & Co Property Management, we work with current and prospective property owners to provide local insight into the Revelstoke vacation rental market, property setup, seasonal rental performance and ongoing management.

Please note: Development timelines, amenities, membership structures and rental/management requirements discussed above are based on information available as of September 15, 2026 and may change as projects progress. Buyers should independently confirm current details with the relevant developer, resort, municipality or other applicable organization before making purchasing or investment decisions.
