The Warming Hut is located in beautiful Revelstoke BC. The Warming Hut is located in Building 3 at the MacKenzie Plaza condo complex built in 2023. There is elevator access to all levels of the units. Mackenzie Plaza has amazing shops located at the ground level ranging from a fully equipped gym, bakery, liquor store, and childcare, and as this is a newer complex there are many more exciting things along the way. You’ll also be surrounded by mountains and will be able to see Mount Begbie and the Cabot golf course which is currently being constructed. Mackenzie Plaza is located 5 minutes from the Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) where you will have access to downhill mountain biking, sightseeing, skiing, snowboarding, the pipe coaster, and mid station gondola which will provide an amazing view and a great lunch spot. Mackenzie Plaza is located 5 minutes away from the heart of Revelstoke where you will have access to amazing shops, restaurants, cafes, gear rentals and many more items that will be outlined in the Welcome Booklet upon check-in. Mackenzie Plaza is located 15 minutes away from Mt. McPherson, where there is Nordic skiing in the winter season and more mountain biking trails during the summer season. Mt Revelstoke National Park hiking trails are also a short distance from the town centre, leaving your group or family endless amounts of opportunities and activities to explore the Revelstoke area. Hive & Co Property Management provides access to the property via a code for the lobby door entrance and a fob is then located inside the unit for future entry. Access to this code will be provided on the day of check-in. The fob is used for the underground parking spot and building access for the remainder of your stay.
Entry- The Warming Hut has a hallway leading to the coat closet where you will find a boot warmer and ample amount of room to hang your jackets and additional outerwear items. There is space to sit down and take off your shoes. Kitchen- The kitchen is brand new with a modern and dark aesthetic. Kitchen appliances include a dishwasher, full-size refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine, French press, kettle, toaster and many more cooking items. The property is also stocked with local Holm Coffee roasted in the Big Eddy in Revelstoke. The property also comes with Tupperware containers for guests to use when they are exploring Revelstoke. We provide environmentally friendly dish soap and dishwasher tabs from our local re-fillery in town. Dining- Enjoy a meal at the full-size wooden dining table with room for 6 or have a quick breakfast at the countertop seating before heading out on the ski hill for a full day of exploring. Living- The Warming Hut has a queen-sized pull-out bed for additional guests. Upon request, this can be made to be ready upon arrival for all guests. The property is also equipped with a large Smart TV with a sound bar speaker underneath the TV. The property is also family-friendly and is fully stocked with card games and board games for the whole family. Bedroom 1 – Boasts a luxurious king-size bed adorned with a velvet blue headboard and topped with a snug down duvet, guaranteeing a restful night’s sleep after your skiing and snowboarding escapades. After a day of snowy adventures, unwind with a leisurely soak in the bathtub. Bedroom 2- This bedroom features a comfortable queen bed adorned with a soft down duvet, promising a peaceful and restful night’s sleep. The room’s large windows not only bathe the space in abundant sunlight but also invite the natural beauty of the surroundings indoors. A full-size closet provides plenty of space for all your storage needs, ensuring your belongings are neatly organized throughout your stay. Additionally, the bedroom is equipped with two bedside tables for convenience, as well as an iron and ironing board. Bathroom 2- This three-piece bathroom not only offers the essentials but enhances your stay with a full-size washer and dryer, ensuring your gear remains fresh and clean throughout your visit. It’s stocked with a selection of environmentally friendly and non-toxic personal care products from Oneka, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and moisturizer. The bathroom also comes with a hair dryer, hair straightener and laundry strips which are locally sourced from Forage and Fill in downtown Revelstoke. Patio- Step onto the patio and watch the gentle descent of snowflakes from the comfort of our cozy seating. Conveniently accessible from the open-concept living area, the patio offers the perfect spot to unwind and immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the winter landscape. Enhancing your experience, the patio features a two-person hot tub, a BBQ grill and seating, ensuring relaxation and enjoyment in every season. Gear Storage- You will have access to a private indoor gear locker on the first floor, for your skis and snowboards. You also have storage for four bikes, as there are 2 bike stalls in the bike room and 2 bike racks mounted in the parking stall.
HIGHWAY 1 EAST ACCESS – from the highway, turn onto Townley Street – at the traffic circle, take your third exit (4th Street East) – turn left at the stop sign on Nichol Road (toward the ski resort) – just after the school zone you will see new condo buildings to your left, when you reach the next roundabout take the second exit onto Coursier Ave and into the apartment complex – you will be in the third building on the left, building 3, Unit 3301 HIGHWAY 1 NORTH ACCESS – from the highway, turn onto Victoria Road – at the traffic circle, take your 2nd exit (Victoria Road) – at the next traffic circle, take your second exit (4th Street East) – turn left on the stop sign at Nichol Road (toward the ski resort) – just after the school zone you will see new condo buildings to your left, when you reach the next roundabout take the second exit onto Coursier Ave and into the apartment complex -you will be in the third building on the left, building 3, Unit 3301

HOT TUB: By renting the property, you agree to use the hot tub responsibly. No glass, please use the plastic cups provided. Misuse: there will be a $500 charge if the hot tub is required to be drained and refilled during your stay or upon on your departure due to misuse. If the cleanliness of the hot tub does not meet your expectations, please alert the host as soon as possible. We will do our best to ensure the hot tub is turned around in a timely fashion but we cannot be held responsible if the hot tub is out of service during your holiday due to draining, cleaning and warming time. The hot tub is suitable for 2 guests. Please be cautious and avoid overflowing. Do not use the hot tub while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If the water level drops below the jets please do not use the hot tub and notify the host immediately. Failure to do so could result in damage to the tub and any repair costs will be charged to the renter. It is imperative that all the jets remain open when the tub is not in use to ensure that the sanitizer can work properly. Renters will be held responsible for any injury, accident or illness caused by the use of the hot tub. The signing party to this agreement is financially responsible for any damage to the hot tub including repair, service and/or damaged or missing parts due to misuse. Please note there are full hot tub rules posted in the condo.
SPORTS EQUIPMENT: Please do not wear outdoor shoes, ski boots or sporting gear in the house. Please keep all biking and winter gear in the appropriate storage unit.
CHECK OUT: Ensure all dishes are washed. Tidy the entire condo. Remember to leave the fob in the basket on the kitchen counter. If the fob is not returned a $45 charge will be issued
QUIET TIME: Strata (Mackenzie Plaza, condo board) imposes quiet time from 11:00 pm – 7:00 am, quiet hours are enforced with a strict fine from the condo board if there is a complaint. The minimum fine is $250.00.
PARKING: No RVs, trailers and oversized vehicles are permitted in the underground parking (8’4″ clearance) or above-ground parking lot at any time. Street parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis, please respect the parking signage posted. Strata council may enforce parking violations with a fine, this will be charged to the guest.
Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% of the full booking will be refunded for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in. A 4% processing fee will be taken from the amount that is refunded.
