QUIET TIME – imposes quiet time from 10:00 pm – 7:00 am, quiet hours are enforced with a strict fine from the property management company if there is a complaint. The minimum fine is $250.00.
CHECK OUT: – Ensure all dishes are washed. – Tidy the entire house.
Winter Gear Storage and Drying: The entry closet is designed to conveniently store your skis or snowboards and other gear. There are boot dryers located in the closet that can be used. We have also found that simply leaving your boots on the heated entry floor will have them nice and dry for the next morning. The floor or dryer also works well for gloves. We do NOT recommend leaving any gear outside. Please do not lean skis/boards against the house.
Hot Tub: The hot tub is located outside the sliding glass doors to the left. The light switch for the patio is located to the right of the sliding glass doors. There are also some outdoor lights you can plug in—the cord and plug are located on the wall near the door next to the hot tub. Important rules: PLEASE shower before entering the hot tub. You will be surprised at how much cleaner this keeps the water during your stay. PLEASE use the flip flops located near the sliding glass door to keep dirt out of the hot tub (and avoid walking on snow). MAXIMUM 4 people. More than 4 people will cause the tub to overflow and empty out too much water compromising operation.
Recycling: Recycling is located to the left of the kitchen sink in both of the grey bins with blue bags. You can recycle paper, cans, and plastic containers. All deposit items (beverages, cans, etc), including glass, go in the big blue bin outside in the metal bear bin in the carport. You can tuck any cardboard (e.g. pizza boxes) for recycling in the bear bin. When the grey bins are full, you can empty the contents into the appropriate containers in the bear bin: paper into the yellow bag, plastic and tin cans into the small blue bin, and deposit items into the large blue bin.
Garbage: PLEASE BE BEAR AWARE! The bears do like to wander through our neighborhood and are known to wander through in the winter when the weather is mild. Garbage is located under the kitchen sink. When full, please securely tie and place full garbage bags in the metal bear bin in the carport (NOT IN THE PLASTIC GARBAGE CAN). Additional kitchen garbage bags are located under the sink. Garbage is picked up curbside on Tuesday mornings before 9am. If you are staying with us over a Tuesday and have accumulated garbage due to the length of your stay, please put all garbage into a large heavy duty garbage bag (these are located in the laundry area under the stairs) into the outdoor plastic garbage can and place curbside in the morning (unless we’ve made arrangements with you to take care of it).
