Neighborhood

Mackenzie Plaza is conveniently located just 5 minutes from Revelstoke Mountain Resort and 5 minutes from downtown Revelstoke. There is a year round shuttle service that picks you up directly in front of the building and takes you to the Resort. MacKenzie Plaza is on BC Transit route 5. Visit their website for the current schedule and fare information. The area is also very cyclist and pedestrian friendly with sidewalks and paved multi-use pathways leading to Downtown Revelstoke.

Access

To access the property we will provide a code for the lobby door entrance and a fob is then located inside the unit for future entry. Access to this code will be provided the day of check-in. The fob is also used for the underground parking spot.

Space

Sleeping Arrangements: Primary Bedroom – 1 King Bed Secondary Bedroom – 1 King Bed Tertiary Bedroom – 1 Bunk Bed (Double and Single) Relax in the living room, where ample seating and a smart TV await. Two full bathrooms ensure ample space for everyone, and the unit comes with a washer and dryer for easy long-term stays. The open-plan dining area and fully stocked kitchen are ideal for cooking and unwinding after a day of adventure. Outside, the generous patio features comfortable seating, a new full-sized hot tub, and a BBQ for your enjoyment.

Transit

HIGHWAY 1 EAST ACCESS – from the highway, turn onto Townley Street – at the traffic circle, take your third exit (4th Street East) – turn left at the stop sign on Nichol Road (toward the ski resort) – just after the school zone you will see new condo buildings to your left, when you reach the next roundabout take the second exit onto Coursier Ave and into the apartment complex – you will be in the Building labelled 1000 (Building 1) HIGHWAY 1 NORTH ACCESS – from the highway, turn onto Victoria Road – at the traffic circle, take your 2nd exit (Victoria Road) – at the next traffic circle, take your second exit (4th Street East) – turn left on the stop sign at Nichol Road (toward the ski resort) – just after the school zone you will see new condo buildings to your left, when you reach the next roundabout take the second exit onto Coursier Ave and into the apartment complex – you will be in the Building labelled 1000 (Building 1)

Notes

Parking: This property comes with 1 reserved underground parking stall (8’4″ clearance). The strata does not permit RVs, trailers, or trucks with sled decks in the parking garage. There is some street parking available for additional vehicles. Note that the ground level parking lot is reserved for customers of the plaza shops, and the Strata may tow vehicles in this lot overnight. Please note there is some development work being done on the retail buildings at MacKenzie Plaza, please do adequate research before booking.

House Rules

PARKING – No RVs, trailers and oversized vehicles are permitted in the underground parking (8’4″ clearance) or above ground parking lot at any time. Street parking is available on a first come, first serve basis, please respect parking signage posted. Strata council may enforce parking violations with a fine, this will be charged to the guest.

HOT TUB: – By renting the property, you agree to use the hot tub in a responsible manner. – No glass, please use plastic cups provided. – Misuse: there will be a $500 charge if the hot tub is required to be drained and refilled during your stay or upon on your departure due to misuse. – If the cleanliness of the hot tub does meet your expectation, please alert the host as soon as possible. – We will do our best to ensure the hot tub is turned around in a timely fashion but we cannot be held responsible if the hot tub is out of service during your holiday due to draining, cleaning and warming time. – The hot tub is suitable for 5 guests or approximately 1000 pounds. Please be cautious and avoid overflowing. – Do not use the hot tub while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. – If the water level drops below the jets please do not use the hot tub and notify the host immediately. Failure to do so could result in damage to the tub and any repair costs will be charged to the renter. – It is imperative that all the jets remain open when the tub is not in use to ensure that the sanitizer can works properly. – Renters will be held responsible for any injury, accident or illness caused by use of the hot tub. – The signing party to this agreement is financially responsible for any damage to the hot tub including repair, service and/or damaged or missing parts due to misuse. – Please note there are full hot tub rules posted in the condo.

QUIET TIME – Strata (condo board) imposes quiet time from 11:00pm – 7:00am, quiet hours are enforced with a strict fine from the condo board if there is a complaint. The minimum fine is $250.00.

CHECK OUT: – Ensure all dishes are washed. – Tidy the entire condo. – Remember to leave the fob in the basket on the kitchen counter. If the fob is not returned a $65 charge will be issued.

SPORTS EQUIPMENT – Please leave all outdoor shoes, mountain biking gear, ski boots or sporting gear in the mini mud room, located on the left handside of the main entrance. Please leave all snowboard & skiis on the patio on the gear rack.
